Below, we will focus on the key characteristics of PE packaging film.

Characteristics of PE packaging film:

1. Protective Function: It can enhance the surface protection of the product, creating a lightweight protective coating around it to achieve dust‑proof, oil‑resistant, moisture‑proof, and waterproof effects, as well as dispersion.

Most importantly, PE packaging film ensures uniform distribution of force on the packaged items, preventing damage caused by uneven stress. The protected products remain safeguarded throughout production, transportation, storage, and use, shielding them from contamination, corrosion, and scratches. The film’s original smooth, glossy surface enhances product quality and market competitiveness—something traditional packaging cannot achieve.

2. Unitization: This is a key feature of PE packaging film. By leveraging the film’s adhesive and retractile properties, products are securely held together as a single unit, consolidating scattered items into a cohesive whole. Even under adverse conditions, the contents remain tightly bound without loosening or separating, and the film avoids sharp edges or stickiness that could cause scratches or compromise the product’s appearance.

Uses of PE packaging bags:

1. The production process for PE flat bags is relatively simple: after the film is blown on a machine, it is cut into PE packaging bags on a bag-making machine and then sealed at the bottom.

2. When the machine produces blown‑film bags, each bag is equipped with a bone‑shaped strip that allows for manual sealing. Unlike zip‑lock bags, these two types of bags are often easily confused.
